The egallery plug-in is a bit different from the other parts of MPN.
If you start using the gallery, please check your file and directory rights as mentioned in the installation chapter of the manual. Many questions on the forum are due to wrong file and directory permissions.
Here you create, edit or delete all the details about the media files that are available on your gallery.
Here you create, edit or delete the file types that you want to use in your gallery. The advantage of adding your own file types is that when new media types are discovered in the future and you want to share such media files on your website, you can add the file type with the correct HTML code for serving such files to the visitor's browser.
Here you create, edit or delete the templates for your gallery. There are 2 different templates in use: one for the index page of gallery, the other for the gallery contents.
This is by far the most easy way to extend the contents of your gallery. Just upload as many files as you like to the different directories of your gallery. Batch Build will browse your directories for new files and add them to the database.
