I see all of these posts about the access denied and suggestions for fixes but what is the actual fix for this to stop happening? It happens when I try to search (FYI: also happens on this site too) and it happens when I try to delete or modify link categories, so what is with the !Access Denied! fixes? And what are they?

It happened when I clicked on advanced search on the front page of the forums, click on adavaned search and watch, are there any fixes for this and the web link categories and on and on?

Thanks for the headsup.
The problem in this instance is because of the period '.' in the page arguments. Ill look into this asap... Ok, I got the files fixed up for this, and it seems to be working correctly, here. So you fixed yours but I have to run my site with a link that does not work, that does not make sense, I am sure there are quite a few others out there that don't work either and probably don't even know it, oh well such is life. Have a good one!

Now dont get me wrong Ive read all 6 pages of posts but ....
Im getting the error "incorrect login" when I try to log into a fresh install of the most current realese.(as the admin i set up durring install) But it also allows me to get to the admin pages being an anynomus user. Ive installed 3 times and always get the same results. Help please the site is Page Title and do you guys irc anywhere to get a lil live help ? Thanks in advance & I love what you all have created Quote

That post above is mine as well, Ive managed to create a reg user and gave super user rights to him but still cant get the main admin user to work. Ive changed the pass for it and nogo and even changed it back to default God/Password and still cant get it to log on
when I try to admin from the second user I created I also get Big Bold ACCESS DENIED when i try to edit a forum or something is the address in the address bar when i get the error. I hope this can be fixed, I sure DONT want to use another cms ~THIS ONES THE BEST !!!!! Quote
