I don't know how good your coding skills are, but for Social MPN we created a side block system that works like the banner system, with click tracking, randam banners and the like. We've got some really good feedback about it. So, if the skills are there you might want to look at implementing something like that, Otherwise it looks like you've got it covered pretty well.
