At installation when reaches input of the password of the administrator, login of the administrator, емайла the administrator all passes well and as soon as the portal it was established with those data of the manager who have been specified at installation, потрал does not start up, (writes that the input is impossible) i.e. it turns out, after installation on a portal anybody is not registered!! And in any way it is impossible for them to operate!! How it to correct?

I'm not sure that I understand your problem. Upon installation, no user is preregistered. Only the admin account is registered in the database. You have to use the admin.php page to login as the admin. You can't login with the admin account as a normal user.

I have a question on a kind of related subject. I just reinstalled MyPHPNuke onto a new server. Everything installed fine and without complication. However when I go to log into the admin section of my site using the details I gave I just keep getting the login screen again. It doesn't tell me I have the wrong details or anything it just gives me the login screen again. I read somewhere that this may be a cookie issue but I don't know enough to be able to do anything about it. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Aha, that works then! OK, my name is BigDave and I would like to know where I could find the file to edit to change the rather unhelpful text message that results when a member uses the wrong password/user name when attempting to log in. !!! QUOTE !!! !!! FATAL ERROR !!!

^^^ You know? That one! We've got a lot of returning members who need to open a new account because all the old member accounts were lost!!!! Oooops! Nothing can be done about that now unfortunately, but I'd certainly like the chance to explain why they need to open a new account instead of them receiving that message). I need a simple fix please, I'm a complete n00bie! Thanks in advance for any help with this. Big Dave.

Take a look at the language files. You can use it to " translate " English into your local words, even if that is English too. Don't forget to read the manual on the language files format. I may save you a lot of time.
